- Well, first of all we apologize for not keeping this blog updated as frequently as we should. We don't have any good excuses as to why not other than it seems as though there are always things that need to be done and places to go and first thing you know a week or so has gone by. - At 10am on December 12th we hauled anchor in Shroud Cay and started on our track to Warderick Wells. The effects of Tropical Storm 'Olga' were now quite apparent and we knew that we would see some strong winds once we got away from the protection of the cay. We had one reef in the main and were using the staysail (the smaller of our 2 headsails) rather than the yankie to try to ensure that we were not 'over-canvassed' and also to give us greater ability to 'head-up' in to the wind as we knew the direction was not far off of our nose.
