- I just placed three identical (and brand new) Win XP Pro computers at a client site, and on one of them, Automatic Updates is enabled, but the option to disable is not available; all options are grayed out within the Automatic Updates Control Panel applet. The Automatic Updates service is running, and I can even restart it, but to no avail. I have also tried logging on as both domain & local administrator, but it is the same both ways. I ran all Windows updates before adding the computers to the domain, and this seems to have happened somewhere during the process of adding them to the domain, adding network printers, etc. |
