Re: Deleting Nickname in Windows Mail (Dec 31 2007 14:57 GMT) - I had a similar problem caused by having the contact information in two different locations. I created sub folders to organize my contacts and had an individual listed there as well as listed under the "main" contact page. |

Resolution Issue (Dec 31 2007 14:57 GMT) - My LCD TV is 27" with max resolution of 1024x768 but is it ok to use 1280x960 or 1280x1024? I tried both and they both display fine on the monitor, will it cause damage to my monitor in any way if I were to set the resolution so high? thanks |

iPhone to receive more hacker attention in 2008, say experts (Dec 31 2007 14:57 GMT) - When the words "iPhone hack" are mentioned, they usually refer to the many unlocks, applications, and tweaks that have been made to the iPhone since its release. Being a hacker now has a positive connotation, since iPhone hackers have been the ones contributing software. But what about hackers in the traditional sense of the word? One major exploit has already been found (albeit by a non-malicious hacker), but according to security firm Arbor Networks, those with nefarious intentions will be focusing on the iPhone even more in 2008.In some respects, the conclusion is a pretty obvious one. |

? The new literacy of television (Dec 31 2007 14:56 GMT) - Late last week, Marc Andreessen pulled a quote from a New Yorker article written in 1951 about television: The most encouraging word we have so far had about television came from a grade-school principal we encountered the other afternoon."They say it's going to bring back vaudeville," he said, "but I think it's going to bring back the book."Before television, he told us, his pupils never read; that is, they knew how to read and could do it in school, but their reading ended there. |
