Configure advanced user profile properties... (Jan 03 2008 17:59 GMT) - Under User Account control panel (windows vista home premium version) there are two choices that are for some reason disabled - *Configure advanced user profile properties *and *Change my enviornment variable*. I am the account administrator, and not logged onto a limited account. I also have a second issue that may or may not be related. When I right click a folder, then go to properties, then under the security tab and hit edit, there is a list of allow or deny boxes to check - the first one being full control. This list is entirely grayed out to me. |

Creating A Static IP Address (Jan 03 2008 17:57 GMT) - I am new to this whole network administration thing and our original setup was all done by the Geeksquad...so I have to new desktops I need to add to our server - and I have all the steps on how to do it and I am good with everything except step one which is assign them each a static IP address. I am not sure how I come up with what that IP address should be. If it makes a difference they are both wirelessly connected to the internet through our network and they are both running Windows XP. Should I just assign it whatever IP address I get when I run the ipconfig command? |

Outlook 2007: Deleted Calender Archive Inadvertently... (Jan 03 2008 17:57 GMT) - I have been a long time user of Outlook and have been using this 2007 version since around February of this year. Several days ago, the rectangular "buttons" on the left side below the tree (Mail, Calender, Contacts) sort of stopped working in that when I select Calender and go back to Mail, the main right hand preview panel continues to display the calender and the item "Calender" in the tree on the left is highlighted - only when I use the mouse to click on "Inbox" at the tree, would I be able to view my Mail items. I have no idea what that was the case and, while trying to "fix" it, I had inadvertently gone way down on the tree to the Archive Folder section, right clicked on the Archive Calender, and deleted it from the pop up menu when I right clicked on Archive Calender. Outlook is ESSENTIAL for me. Everything I do is on it to keep me on track. |

Macro to save Single Page to another workbook (Jan 03 2008 17:56 GMT) - Good Morning, I have a question about developing a Macro that takes a single sheet (sheet would be ActiveSheet) and move it from one Workbook and place it in another. I've already created a Macro which can take an Active Page and save it to my desktop, but I cannot quite figure out how to save it to an existing file. My workbook is located on my Desktop and named "Docking Station". The below code is what I set-up to originally to just save a single page to my desktop. Any help would be much appreciated. |
