xpsp2 with office2007 (Jan 07 2008 05:59 GMT) - Does anyone know what is causing the lag and extreme slowness when accessing specifically outlook2007, word2007 etc, you can type complete sentences before MSword renders the text and outlook has the similar constant pause/thinking when creating new messages...i've disabled addins, removed indexing, am now going through xp to slim it down as IE7 isn't impressive on speed either(that's another thread), hardware is high spec'd-exceeds min req's and already done testing on this, i've removed all 3rd party software therefore solely trying to rectify xpsp2 and office2007 LAG - the only solution thus far is to remove office2007 completely to resolve issue, though that's not really a viable option-any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated |
