- We just returned from San Ignacio Lagoon where we got to see some amazing grey whales. We hired one of the local fishermen to take us from our boat to the entrance of the lagoon (private boats are not allowed). This was a thrill ride all in its own! It felt like being on Big Thunder Mountain - just with a lot more spray! One of the pangas from the Lagoon (which is a protected "biosphere" for the whales) came out to meet us and we transferred (no small feat! |
