Raw: Castro in new video alongside Brazil's Lula (Jan 17 2008 09:41 GMT) - Cuban leader Fidel Castro has appeared in a new video, thin but lucid, meeting with Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. The video, shown on Cuban television on Wednesday, is the first of Castro in three months. "I have felt quite well," Castro is shown telling Lula, a day after their meeting. Castro underwent gastrointestinal surgery in late July 2006 and has not been seen in public since. |
