Survey Finds Real Estate Agents Optimistic After Fed's Rate Cut (Feb 01 2008 08:20 GMT) - The Federal Reserve announced an unusual 0.75 percentage point rate cut on January 22, 2008, and a second 0.5 percentage point rate cut on January 30, 2008. With 30 year mortgage rates already at the lowest levels since the summer of 2005 a survey of real estate agents and brokers subscribed to LeadToRealty.com found that the vast majority, 83%, expected their business to improve this year as a consequence of the rate cuts. |
