Schizophrenia [Rhiannon Hill] (Feb 29 2008 19:22 GMT) - Yet again a person on TV tries to explain how a chimpanzee has two different 'sides' to its personality by using the phrase schizophrenic. Let me state here for anyone who wishes to learn, that is is insulting to people who suffer from this very difficult form of psychological illness. Schizophrenia is a general term for people whose day to day reality is so far from what is considered functional that they can't cope. They perceive things differently from the rest of us. They see, hear and feel, recieving date from their environment like everyone else but they process this information very differently. |

Things to watch for. (Feb 29 2008 19:21 GMT) - According to Alex Levine, tonight's SGA episode will include Joe Flanigan's kids, and an ultrasound image of one of the Stargate babies, but he can't recall which one.Slightly more detail at the link. Nothing really hugely spoilery, but I omitted the details here because people are freaks. |

Video about quest to get Dalai Lama to carry Olympic torch (Feb 29 2008 19:21 GMT) - Here at TED, I met a man named Steve Varon. He's a warm and gregarious man who runs a successful children's underwear company on the East Coast. For the last year or so, he's been working very hard to make his dream possible: to see the Dalai Lama carry the torch in the Chinese Olympics. He made a short video about it, which he submitted to Pangea Day, but you can see it now on YouTube. |

BORED NOW (Feb 29 2008 19:21 GMT) - While the notion of this thing continuing until Pennsylvania so that I can actually vote has some appeal, I'm really not sure I can stand another 7 weeks of this.Having said that, this election season doesn't exist for my amusement so campaigns are of course perfectly entitled to stay in the thing as long as they want. |

Tim Ruskell Speaks (Feb 29 2008 19:20 GMT) - Good stuff from Frank Hughes and the Trib. This is exactly the type of content I want from someone with ins and sources. Let's rip right into this point-by-point. The team is very tight on the $116 million salary cap because of Marcus Trufant's franchise tag. In fact, to make any moves in free agency, there is going to have to be some other movement on the roster in terms of cutting players or restructuring contracts. |
