(Feb 29 2008 19:43 GMT) - ...and I won't agree on that with you; I remember that in my youth when I was 14 or 15 I was an avid reader of the Elric of Melniboné stories or take the Jerry Cornelius cycle that was just great, although his works haven't been that good for the past two decades; in contrast to that I have disliked 'The Lord of the Rings' (never made more than a few pages in LotR or take 'The Silmarillion (what a waste of paper)) from the beginning and agree with Moorcock on him, it's all a matter of taste |

- There's less than two weeks to go before filing day, and it already looks like the Republicans are going to fail miserably at contesting the new Democratic majority in the Oregon House. As of last night, Republicans have filed candidates in only two seats currently held by Democrats. Meanwhile, the Democrats have eighteen candidates running in fourteen districts currently represented by Republicans. Overall, it's clear that momentum and excitement is on the Democratic side - with 56 candidates running in 45 districts. The Republicans have only 35 candidates running in 29 districts. |
