The Rock of Forgiveness (Feb 29 2008 20:50 GMT) - A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand:TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE. They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. |

On the Finding of Help and the Getting of Answers (Feb 29 2008 20:49 GMT) - As we recently posted, FeedBurner's integration into Google is moving along. We've got our coding hats on and are hard at work to get the essential product pieces where they need to be. Canadian bluenoses (Feb 29 2008 20:49 GMT) - Those Canadians have got a few prigs running things up there, and they've apparently trying to pass some laws to slap down those darned naughty artist types. There's just one line from the sour old prude that's worth mentioning, the rest is the usual noise. A well-known evangelical crusader is claiming credit for the federal government's move to deny tax credits to TV and film productions that contain graphic sex and violence or other offensive content. Charles McVety, president of the Canada Family Action Coalition, said his lobbying efforts included discussions with Public Safety Minister Stockwell Day and Justice Minister Rob Nicholson, and "numerous" meetings with officials in the Prime Minister's Office. "We're thankful that someone's finally listening," he said yesterday. |

YOU KNOW YOU ARE A PARENT WHEN? [Richard Derwent Cooke] (Feb 29 2008 20:48 GMT) - BARF NIGHT: My eldest came back for a visit today and as we drover her home she fell asleep in the back of the car. When I glanced at her, beautiful in repose, I was transported back to her babyhood when she always slept through every journey, in just the same way. It took me back on a little waft and I was remembering a time when one of my girls suddenly said "Daddy I feel sick!" and instead of running for the hills, I immediately cupped my hands and she promptly filled them!!! |
