Former 'Reader's Digest' Lady Tells Us How To Live [Life In These United States] (Feb 29 2008 22:40 GMT) - Former EIC of Reader's Digest, Family Circle, Consumer Reports, and Child Jacqueline Leo gets all shouty over at the HuffPo, that repository of nutjob rants, informed political discussion, and celebrity musings. We're sort of not sure what she's talking about, but she does call us out: in her list of "7 Debtly Sins" that humorously (we think?) suggests America tax the "sloppy, stupid and sinful" to get out of debt, we are at #4, under "Wrath: Working for Gawker or some other 'I'm young, angry and hateful' Internet site that contributes nothing to the society. |

New York Souls More Expensive Than Average [Sellouts] (Feb 29 2008 22:40 GMT) - NYC residents, an investigation has found, are the only people on earth who are not for sale. Time Out went around offering cash to people on the street to sell their stuff on the spot—t-shirts, do-rags, pins, their own time. The reporter managed to get a do-rag, some pins, and an hour of quality time with some people (for $150-$50), but concluded that 72% of all citizens are "not for sale." Further, "Both athletes and hipsters refused my offer of $100 for their shiny tights," which proves only that athletes and hipsters are not good economists. |

Opstart af ATI Kontrolpanel er mislykkedes (Feb 29 2008 22:39 GMT) - Hej efter en formatering af mit XP styresystem dukker der konstant denne fejlmeddelelse op efter opstart: "Opstart af ATI Kontrolpanel er mislykkedes, fordi der ikke er installeret noggen ATI-drivere eller ATI_driveren ikke fungerer korrekt. ATI Kontrolpanelet vil nu blive afsluttet” Jeg kan ikke benytte mig af mit trådløse internet da det garanteret har noget med dette at gøre, jeg aner dog ikke hvad det betyder. Er der nogle der kan hjælpe. Nå ja, jeg har som nævnt XP og installeret på en Acer 291LCI bærbar. |

There is one 7″ nut or mint bowl, and six individual mint dishes. All of the pieces are in very good to excellent condition. The large nut bowl has significant wear to the gold fleck (see photos), but the center medallion is in very good condition and the individual serving bowls are in excellent shape. |

Dorothy Thorpe Condiment Jar, Gold Flecked Glass - $25.00 (Feb 29 2008 22:39 GMT) - Wonderful gold fleck enhances this delicate condiment jar by Dorothy Thorpe. Standing 5″ tall with the lid on, the jar ia in very good condition with a bit of roughness around the rim of the lids, but no chips, nicks or cracks. Very hard to find piece. This lidded jar is perfect for serving olives and pearl onions and a wonderful complement to any bar, and will add a lot of great sparkle to your next event. |
