We're sort of not sure what she's talking about, but she does call us out: in her list of "7 Debtly Sins" that humorously (we think?) suggests America tax the "sloppy, stupid and sinful" to get out of debt, we are at #4, under "Wrath: Working for Gawker or some other 'I'm young, angry and hateful' Internet site that contributes nothing to the society. |

- Vintage Japanese Cloisonné tea caddy - round body with domed lid. Inside the lid is a further gilded brass lid. Beautiful workmanship, with panels depicting three clawed dragon, long tailed bird, and butterflies. The butterfly panel has glitter. |

- An aluminum shaker marked Cocomalt. Original use was to shake up a chocolate milk shake or malted milk. Useful to mix thickenings for sauces and gravies also. Stands 7 in. tall with a tight fitting cap. |

- A very fine 72 ounce pitcher in milk glass with an overall hobnail design broken by horizontal ribs at the handle and spout. This pitcher has a triple band about one inch from the rim, a shaped handle and a wide spout. It is over 7″ tall and 5.5″ |

- A unique coaster for a wine or champagne bottle. This dish has a gold and black pattern of coins and a tree against a cream background with gold trim on the rim. The transfer is signed NEES beneath the lower right leaf of the tree. This coaster is 6.75″ |

- Wonderful gold fleck enhances this 7 piece nut set by Dorothy Thorpe. There is one 7″ nut or mint bowl, and six individual mint dishes. All of the pieces are in very good to excellent condition. The large nut bowl has significant wear to the gold fleck (see photos), but the center medallion is in very good condition and the individual serving bowls are in excellent shape. |

- Wonderful gold fleck enhances this delicate condiment jar by Dorothy Thorpe. Standing 5″ tall with the lid on, the jar ia in very good condition with a bit of roughness around the rim of the lids, but no chips, nicks or cracks. Very hard to find piece. This lidded jar is perfect for serving olives and pearl onions and a wonderful complement to any bar, and will add a lot of great sparkle to your next event. |

- This lovely milk glass bowl has a raised grape and leaf pattern on the inside as well as on the outside. It has a scalloped shape, two small pointed handles, and a translucent look to the milk glass. This squared oval bowl is about 8.5″ across, slightly longer on the handled sides. |

- A large chop plate in an octagonal shape by Arcoroc. This black glass pattern was very popular in the 70s and 80s and was called both Octime and Novoctime by the maker. This platter is 12.5″ across and in good condition with some scratching that's just about impossible to see unless it's held up to a bright light. |

- Sporting bright yellow and black flowers on a cream background, this large round earthenware platter is 12.25″ in diameter. It probably dates from the 50s, though we have not been able to identify the maker. It is in very good condition with a couple of small glaze skips but no nicks, chips or cracks. |

- Very retro Glasbake casserole in milk glass with a green floral stencil on the front and back. This oval baker is 6″ wide by 8.75″ long, not including the handles. |
