2005 Mustang GT, Horrid noises from the rear (Apr 21 2008 12:49 GMT) - when im driving esp on the freeway i get terrible rattling and metal to metal squeaking from the passenger side rear in the trunk. it almost seems as if the car is unaligned and the back tires are bouncing down the road causing the metal skeleton of the trunk to rub together but alignment has been checked numerous times, have brought it to the dealership multiple times and of course they an never hear it. i just got brand new tires, perfect alignment and its still doing it...could it be a bent axle, because it also does it when i go hard off the line and all the weight is transferred to the rear....any thoughts? |

How do I create a CORRECT histogram? (Apr 21 2008 12:49 GMT) - I'm trying to create a histogram for 50 values. I've put in the upper bounds as my bin values, as was posted by another user. However, the frequency output chart that is created by the histogram does not match the same frequencies that my data shows. Many times, the frequency is off by one, either positive or negative. Moreover, I want the lower bounds of the data set to show up. |

Search a string for paragraph marks (Apr 21 2008 12:49 GMT) - I have a form with a multi-line textbox. After the user has entered in their text, I need to know how many returns they've entered. I've been using text with 5 lines (each with a hard return) for testing purposes, but have not been able to find code that will tell me the user entered 5 hard returns. Here is what I've tried and the values I get: NumPara = InStr(1, searchtext$, chr(10)) - returns 30 NumPara = InStr(1, searchtext$, chr(11)) - returns 0 NumPara = InStr(1, searchtext$, chr(13)) - returns 29 NumPara = InStr(1, searchtext$, vbLf) - returns 30 NumPara = InStr(1, searchtext$, vbcr) - returns 29 NumPara = InStr(1, searchtext$, "^p") - returns 0 I've also tried "^11", "^13", "^10", and all return 0. |
