Discovery Cove Tickets (by: ShirleyD) (Apr 30 2008 13:41 GMT) - Hi Steve, welcome to the forum We have done this package and it was great, we also upgraded to valet parking, which gave free premium parking at Sea world and Busch. For us it saved money as we did both parks twice (Aquatica wasn't open then) But if you only have 2 weeks, then a day at DC 2 at Busch 2 at Seaworld and 1 at Aq is already 6 days of your holiday. I don't know if you have been to Florida and done the parks before, but I would recommend looking at the parks link above and maybe opting for a 4 day base ticket for Disney with no expiry as you will then not feel pressured into going to the parks if you are tired as they can be used on future trips regardless when you return |

One for villa owners (by: Susan J) (Apr 30 2008 13:41 GMT) - It never loses its magic! I have been going to Florida for 20+ years, and have owned homes over 10 years - I appreciate it more with every visit -and one thing I will say that may push you over the edge to make you buy your own -you find yourself going more often and for longer. My son is 15 now, and can't bear not doing theme parks etc, he loves it all! |

MaxJet - Sad News (by: 50sumtng) (Apr 30 2008 13:41 GMT) - We are flying Silverjet in a couple of weeks time. This is the second trip with them and we like their attitude, both in the air and in their lounges in Luton and NJ. We usually fly on down to Florida from NJ with JetBlue. An advantage with Silverjet is the fact that they let you use their lounge on arrival at NJ, whilst you wait for the Jetblue connection. So, here's hoping that they continue to survive |

Globespan (by: domster) (Apr 30 2008 13:41 GMT) - They offer a cheap service to Florida. This would leave you with more money to spend when you are in the parks! As for the service and delays, I can't comment on this as I have never flown with them, although they don't have the flexibility if the plane goes tech, so do get longer delays than most. |

sea screamer (by: LiesaAnna) (Apr 30 2008 13:41 GMT) - Originally posted by andrewandcaroleWe have been so many times - every time we take someone new with us to our villa we just have to go to Clearwater for the Sea Screamer! We have always seen dolphins - sometimes so many it is fabulous! Best to have a video camera rather than a normal one - they come out of the water so quickly that you can snap and miss them - the voice of experience having had plenty of pics of the sea....!! We have only ever known one trip when friends of ours didn't see dolphins - and you're right - they got another trip free! |

Boeing sees fuel cell as future candidate (Apr 30 2008 13:41 GMT) - Boeing is examining the use of fuel cell technology to substitute for batteries as the possible first airborne commercial application of the concept. The company, which has just flown a fuel cell-powered light aircraft, believes that use of the technology in this way could be practical several years before its eventual hoped-for use as a replacement for auxiliary power units (APU). |

HO-229 FLYING WING by SkyUnlimited (Apr 30 2008 13:41 GMT) - Had the Ho 229 made it into production it would have been the culmination of Luftwaffe technology and design. Featuring flying wing technology to reduce drag, two 30mm cannons, one of the first ejection seats, and a power plant of two Junkers Jumo jet engines, the Ho 229 would have been unmatched in the skies over Europe. |
