Trippi's Regret (May 01 2008 20:56 GMT) - Joe Trippi had one shot to convince John Edwards to stay in the presidential race but "for the first time in thirty years of political work, I didn't go with my gut.""I didn't tell him what I should have told him: That I had this feeling that if he stayed in the race he would win 300 or so delegates by Super Tuesday and have maybe a one-in-five chance of forcing a brokered convention. That there was a path ahead that would be extremely painful, but could very well put him and his causes at the top of the Democratic agenda. And that in politics anything can happen -- even the possibility that in an open convention with multiple ballots an embattled and exhausted party would turn to him as their nominee. |

Still riding a good wave (May 01 2008 20:56 GMT) - Miraculously, things are still going well here. I had the most fantastic weekend of laziness two weekends ago, I did absolutely nothing but watch TV and read (well, I did give in and clean a little, but I stopped when I felt like it, and that was kinda nice too). The skids have been calling more often just to talk, which is nice and I know it makes Hubby feel great. They even asked BM to drop them off for a few extra hours (twice!) and she agreed! |

It was for this reason that GG&G developed a Sling Thing specifically for dovetail applications.
