Corsair working on 4GB DDR3-1800 kit too (May 01 2008 21:53 GMT) - Author: zoka Forum: News Date: 2008-04-28 Super Talent can brag with being the first to announce a high-capacity (4Gigabytes), high-performance (1800MHz) DDR3 memory kit but it will soon have some competition as famed manufacturer Corsair is also preparing a similar offer. Dubbed TW3X4G1800C8DF G and part of the Dominator series, Corsair's upcoming but unofficially announced kit will feature two 2GB modules rated to work at 1800 MHz with 8-8-8-24 timings and powered at 1. |

RV770 cards with GDDR5 rumored being sampled (May 01 2008 21:53 GMT) - Author: zoka Forum: News Date: 2008-04-28 AMD's second generation 55nm mid- and higher-end chips, the RV770 are apparently looking really good and ready to make an appearance before the end of this quarter, at least paired up with GDDR3 memory. Set to arrive first, the RV770 PRO cards with GDDR3 memory will be soon followed by RV770XT products with GDDR5 memory which are now rumored as being sampled. |

Intel to intro E8600 and Q9400 in Q3 (May 01 2008 21:53 GMT) - Author: zoka Forum: News Date: 2008-04-28 With AMD working like MAD to get 45nm parts out the door, Intel will be putting more pressure on the Sunnyvale-based company in Q3 with the release of two new models which are set to take over the $266 price point. The E8600 and Q9400 are set to push the E8500 down the price latter and probably retire the Q9300 and they'll have something for everyone. |
