- By way of blowing fuses and seeing a little puff of smoke everytime I went to replace the 20amp for the foglights, drls and horn, I realized that the cause of my problem was that there is a wire which sticks out the side of the power distribution box (towards the firewall) under the hood and it was making contact with a piece of metal on wall of the engine compartment. Of course the wire is a little burnt up looking and I would love to get at it to solve the problem but I need to remove the power distribution box to get at the wire. Im just wondering if i have to completely unbolt the distribution box from the car or is there a way that I could access these wires another way. If need be I can post some pics tomorrow. Thanks. |
