Starbucks rolling out free Wi-Fi for iPhones, slowly (May 02 2008 20:57 GMT) - Some iPhone users have reported that the newly launched AT&T hotspots are offering free Wi-Fi access to all iPhone users, as long as you have a valid iPhone phone number with the provider. Opposition Slams Calls for Runoff in Zimbabwe (May 02 2008 20:57 GMT) - Zimbabwe's opposition leader garnered the most votes in presidential voting five weeks ago. But in announcing the results Friday, Zimbabwe's election officials said Morgan Tsvangirai still didn't win enough to avoid a runoff election. The opposition claims that government attempts to force a runoff are nothing short of criminal. |

selecting message scroll wheel does not work (May 02 2008 20:56 GMT) - This is an odd one that I am not sure where to go. Our IT person says they didn't do anything but this behavior just started happening out of the blue. We use an exchange server and everybody in my team has access to a joint account. In this account there is an additional column that was added in Customize View:Messages/Fields and it is in User Defined Fields. |

Politik: Schwere Vorwürfe nach Mai-Randale (May 02 2008 20:56 GMT) - Nach den schweren Krawallen am 1. Mai in Hamburg haben die Polizei und Innensenator Udo Nagel dem Hamburger Oberverwaltungsgericht eine Mitschuld an der Eskalation der Gewalt gegeben. Das Gericht hatte Auflagen der Polizei gegen die Gegendemonstranten bei einem NPD-Aufmarsch kurzfristig aufgehoben. Bei den Hamburger Auseinandersetzungen zwischen linken und rechten Demonstranten hat die Polizei nach eigener Einschätzung Todesopfer verhindert. In Berlin wurden 138 Randalierer festgenommen. |

Olympic Torch Gets Positive Reception in Hong Kong (May 02 2008 20:56 GMT) - The Olympic torch is paraded without disruption through the streets of Hong Kong on Friday. This is the first time the torch has reached Chinese soil. It was greeted by crowds of flag-waving residents, shouting insults at pro-Tibet and human rights protesters. Some of them were forced to seek refuge in police vans. |
