Windows 2000 Processes get shortened (Jun 25 2008 17:59 GMT) - I am using Nagios and nsclient to monitor an old windows 2000 box. I am using the check to pull the process list, and verify if an .exe is being executed. On one of my Windows 2000 Server machines, I get false negatives. A service is started, and the executable name is something like longservicename. |

Photobucket Issues (Jun 25 2008 17:59 GMT) - I use Photobucket.com to get all my pics up on line and I just realized you can actually decorate them, add text and resize them and such so I've been making use of that. I just added a new siggie pic and although I resized it to a 'message board' size, its HUGE! Any suggestions? |

Uploading to web (Jun 25 2008 17:59 GMT) - Because of a long-standing problem with publishing a web, I need assurance of proper Windows Services settings as noted below. For publishing a web to a LAN or Broadband network are these Windows Services required? (for a web that is not using a database) And if they are required, what should the setting be? - netdde.exe and (network dynamic data exchange) - lsass. |

Constantly losing network connections (Jun 25 2008 17:58 GMT) - I'm running Windows Vista. When I start up(with wireless or cable) I always have connection to the servers and internet. After an hour or so I lose the connections to the server, but not to the echange server and not to the internet. It's telling me something like "the letter of the station is already in use" How to solve this? |

Re: How do I get my taskbar to revert back to a horizontal display (Jun 25 2008 17:57 GMT) - I have this problem as well only it appeared vertically on it's own. I never changed it and I am the only one that uses this computer. Is there another way to get it to go back to horizontal? These steps did not work for me. The task bar is unlocked and I have tried both right clicking and left clicking to drag it down and it does not work; |
