Smokin hot deals on Weld wheels!!

(Sep 05 2008 16:28 GMT)
This is an unbelivable deal on Weld forged wheels. The deal is 75% off on any Weld wheels, and have it shipped to your closest 4WP store so that you don't have to pay shipping. One such example of the deal, a $462 wheel is $115. Another example is a $316 wheel is $76. http:

Manifold pressure sensor

(Sep 05 2008 15:56 GMT)
My manifold pressure sensor just went out. Has anyone else had this problem? I was driving on the freeway and suddenly lost fuel pressure. I run biodiesel, so I thought I just needed to change the fuel filter. Nothing happened, I got it to the dealership and they said the manifold pressure sensor was telling my rig to defuel because it thought my turbo was on the fritz.

Two Tone Paint and Fender Flares - Pics Anyone?

(Sep 05 2008 15:53 GMT)
One of my winter projects is to get new paint on my 01. It's currently all white and I'm toying with the idea of using a two tone scheme with white on the top and tan below the side moldings, but I also would like to add some fender flares and I'm just not sure how it would look. Any pics would help. Thanks guys. Josh

What an expensive week

(Sep 05 2008 15:32 GMT)
This last weekend while I was in Texas moving my folks, my wife was in the mountains here in Colorado with her horse. Her and a friend stopped for lunch and came out and the truck would not turn over. After calling a mobile mechanic on a holiday weekend, AAA only wanted to tow the truck and she could not leave her horses there, a new starter with labor cost nearly $600. When she came home Wednesday night she found most of her trailer lights not working save one turn signal an tail light. After searching this forum, I found the problem people have been having with the TIPM on 06 trucks.

a/c pump wires

(Sep 05 2008 15:24 GMT)
I see two wires on the 89 a/c pump I have just like on the ford system I have. I need to connect mine to the cummins and wonder if this is a power and ground deal. The wires are one black and the other black with a white stripe I need to know if one is positive and the other ground and if Yes which one. Thank You.

Latest diesel news from Ford.

(Sep 05 2008 14:56 GMT)
The party is over Jeremy Cato, today at 10:18 AM EDT LOMMEL, Belgium; Just when we thought diesels would have a big future in Canada and the United States, along come the engineering types with a bucket of icy cold water. At least Ford's engineering types. Here at Ford's test track facility on the Dutch border a facility the industry calls a "proving ground";

DPF Delete and Emissions Tests

(Sep 05 2008 14:44 GMT)
Those of you who have deleted your DPF and blocked off your EGR, how are you going about getting your emissions tests done? I know that plenty of people live in counties in TX that don't require emissions tests, but for those of you who do, what are you doing to get passed it? Are you keeping the DPF and reinstalling the day you go get your inspection or what? I'm just curious because I'm about as fed up with all this CEL BS and am not wanting to get rid of my truck. I'll prolly wait until my warranty is up but who knows for certain.

Getting a little smoke at idle, Problem ?

(Sep 05 2008 14:43 GMT)
Got 96,000 miles on the meter and just started to notice a little smoke while the truck is at idle. Should I be worried ? What has changed ? Injector problems coming ? Trucks runs great by the way, just like always.

(Aug 26 2008 02:49 GMT)

Low brake vacuum

(Aug 26 2008 02:35 GMT)
Truck is in my sig... The other day while towing my trailer I was slowing down coming up to a stop sign and the brake pedal got REALLY hard, the vacuum assist was gone. The next intersection I came to it was fine and has been fine for a couple days. Tonight, I went to move my truck from one driveway to the other and at first the brakes were fine, then all of a sudden, no more vacuum and a VERY hard pedal. If I ran the RPM's up the vacuum came back and the pedal became normal again.

Springs or Studs????

(Aug 26 2008 02:32 GMT)
Like the title says, I have some money burning a hole in my pocket. I cant decide which one would be better for me. I would like to run the TNT/R tune for the MOST power from SMARTY, but if I decide to do twins in the future I think I will need studs! HELP a guy decide how to spend some $$$$....and possibly give a few suggestions as to why you would do it that way....

Traction Bars Poll

(Aug 26 2008 02:06 GMT)
How many of you over 700hp are not running traction bars? Please vote yes or no to the traction bars if you are at or over 700. I am trying to decide whether or not I need them. I don't pull and will only dyno occasionally, but I want to avoid excessive axle wrap. Jay

Bad clutch or starter noise at startup.

(Aug 26 2008 02:02 GMT)
Every once in a while when I crank the starter over with the clutch depressed, the clutch or starter makes a loud POP. Kinda sounds like the clutch is stuck engaged and the starter pops it free. It just recently started this and it doesent sound healthy for the parts involved. I dont know if its related, but it is getting harder to shift into 2nd gear also. Anybody ever had this problem?

Brake upgrade

(Aug 26 2008 01:58 GMT)
I would like to upgrade my brake system. Mostly starting with rotors and drums and new pads and calipers. While looking at Napa at their online store, I saw some of the rotors with the hubs already installed. Are they worthwhile to buy? I've never bought'em like that, I've always just beat the crap outta my rotors and hub to get it off.
