Word 2002 Won't open-Says not enough memory

(Aug 22 2008 01:57 GMT)
Windows XP, current service packs installed - on auto updates. We have a licensed version of Microsoft Works installed (2004?) with MS Word 2002 as a part of the package. All was working fine until sometime within the last week. Now when we attempt to open MS Word 2002 to a blank document or open an existing document it reports an error that we do not have enough storage or memory (presumably RAM).

Non-VBA calendar popup/control?

(Aug 22 2008 01:56 GMT)
Hello! I send my workbook out to many users and I am always looking for ways to improve it. For date entries in cells, I use data validation to make sure the dates are legit, but is there any way to have one of those calendars that pops up when you select a cell, allows entry of the picked date to that cell, and then closes the popup? This is for Excel 2003 and it has to be non-VBA because many of the users are scared of the macro warning that pops up when you open a VBA workbook. Thanks for any help!

MS Word 7, graph on all pages

(Aug 22 2008 01:54 GMT)
A while ago, when I was designing a document I put a graph on the page, so I could easily position photos. I saved it as a separate document and quit Word. Now whenever I open up word, that darned graph is on every blank page. It doesn't show up in the Print Preview...but it bothers me to write a letter having that graph there.

How do I create a survey using excel?

(Aug 22 2008 01:53 GMT)

Transposing in formula

(Aug 22 2008 01:53 GMT)
I have a formula that I need to copy along a row. Part of the formula refers to cells that are elsewhere in a column. Is there a way of copying the formula along the row without having to then manually change the references for the data in the column.

When recording in OneNote, voices drowned out by handwriting noise

(Aug 22 2008 01:52 GMT)
When I try to to record meetings in OneNote, the actual discussion in the meeting is drowned out by the sound of my note-taking -- that is, the sound of my pen hitting the TabletPC screen. I am a fairly forceful writer, but not that bad. I am using the internal mic in my TabletPC, which I guess is picking up internal computer noise over external voices. Do I need to get a different mic to record audio while using OneNote? Any help you can provide would be great.

Re: Graphic Data Marker in Excel 2007 Charts

(Aug 22 2008 01:40 GMT)
Apologies for asking a question in a reply (every time I try to start a new thread I get nothing but a blocked pop up!) I want to replace the markers in 2000 excel scatterplot charts with numbers so for a given object I can identify its attributes across a number of scatterplots.ie all the ones correspond to the first object, all the two's to the second etc.is this possible and if it is how (keep in mind I'm just a biologist not a programmer). Could I do it as per the Andy Pope instructions?

(Aug 22 2008 01:37 GMT)
I've never been able to assign anything to ActiveCell.Text. I don't know why, but it's consistent. -- HTH, Barb Reinhardt "baobob@my-deja.com" wrote:

How to read easily this forum.

For years, I did not found how to read easily this forum. Now, I found it is only to double-click the headline of the theme. A new pretty window starts up, and you can read all of them without magnifying glass. -- JuneTheSecond Now, visual calculation is more visual. http:
