Local Business Woman Joins Forces With Military Pet Foster Project |
|
Albuquerque, NM (PRWEB) May 30, 2004 -- Local home-based business woman, Kim Bloomer, owner of Aspenbloom, has joined forces with NetPets.org's founder, Steve Albin, to promote and support Albin's "pet" project - Military Pet Foster Project. Bloomer states, "Prior to Mr. Albin implementing the Military Pet Foster Project, our military personnel often had no recourse but to place their pets in animal shelters when they were mobilized. Thanks to Albin's deep concern for the pets and love of country, there is this great service offered to our military personnel. Now when our troops come home from deployment, their pets are still here waiting for them rather than either being euthanized or adopted out." Bloomer publishes a pet wellness newsletter channel http://www.quikonnex.com/channel/page/AspenbloomWellPet. It's not only a great place to get information for your own pet care, but to find out more about how you can lend a hand to the Military Pet Foster Project to help our military's pets. "Help us to help our country, those who fight for our freedom, and of course, their pets! Let our military know they can leave their pets in good care while they fight for their country so that they can come home to love waiting for them," Bloomer says. "Americans are great at pulling together during times of hardship and helping each other. I know this would bring some comfort to our military while they are away from home." Bloomer is offering a percentage of all sales proceeds from her business to the Military Pet Foster Project. The NetPets.Org's Military Pet Foster Project was founded shortly following the September 11, 2001 attacks on our country. The Project was created to be the liason and overseer between those in the military who have to place their pets and the foster homes all over this country. This is a totally free service, as is the actual fostering of the Pets. The Project was born out of Mr. Albin's desire to be both patriotic and a deep humanitarian concern for the pets. |
